Würth Chooses LeanOrder
12.09.2011 - St. Gallen: Würth Industrie Service extends its CPS®RFID-System Modules with Intellion’s award winning LeanOrder Solution.
Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG, a division of the Würth Group, relies on Intellion’s LeanOrder solution. LeanOrder will be integrated as an essential logistics module into the CPS®RFID system modules of Würth Industrie Service. This was announced by Würth Industrie Service during a press conference on 09. September 2011 (German).

Along with the established LeanOrder ordering mechanisms (PushTag, TurnTag, RotationTag, WeightShelf and WeightSkid), Würth Industrie Service will focus on Intellion’s new ordering mechanism LeanOrder DetectionShelf. DetectionShelf optimally supports two-bin Kanban-processes.

LeanOrder DetectionShelf is a rack, enabling simple and reliable replenishment orders: if an empty bin with an attached RFID label is placed on the LeanOrder DetectionShelf, the rack reads the ID of the empty bin and sends the information via RFID to the LeanOrder ordering platform. Würth Industrie Service’s brand name for this ordering principle is CPS®iShelf.

Like all LeanOrder ordering mechanisms, LeanOrder DetectionShelf can easily be integrated into standard shelves. It works wirelessly, flexibly, with low integration efforts and high reliability.
