The Intellion AG was founded in 2000 by Markus Dierkes, Stephan Eisen, Elgar Fleisch and Kai Millarg as a spin-off of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. In 2007 the Intellion Services GmbH was founded in order to focus on professional consulting services in the field of wireless solutions. Both companies are privately held and run by the entrepreneurs.
