Intellion is an innovation leader for wireless smart automation and logistics solutions that support and control manual processes in industrial environments. As a key innovation driver we use the latest Ubiquitous Computing (UC) technologies, such as RFID, sensor and localization as well as display and communication technologies. These technologies allow to turn means of transport and production into "smart things" and building effective tracking and assistance solutions.
We are operating in two areas: 

		Solutions: Delivering innovative system solutions that support and control manual processes of production logistics, using wireless technologies as an enabler.
		Consulting: Specialized consulting services for total optimization and redevelopment of business processes, exploiting potential between informational and physical processes by employing new technologies (IT, identification, localization, assistance and sensors).

The Intellion AG, focusing on solutions, was founded in 2000 as a spin-off of the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland and has continually evolved into the innovation leader for wireless based turn key solutions. Since the beginning of 2007 all consulting activities are bundled in the Intellion Services GmbH that was founded as a spin-off from Intellion AG. Both companies are privately held and driven by the founders.
