LeanOrder e-VMI

For C-parts logistics provider, the LeanOrder e-VMI solution offers an integrated ordering platform with various wireless, radio-based ordering systems such as the TurnTag, RotationTag, PushTag or the fully automatic WeightShelf.

The LeanOrder Controller wirelessly receives all replenishment orders via radio (RFID, BLE) and transmits them via an M2M connection (LTE/UMTS) wirelessly to the LeanOrder Control Suite and the IT systems of the C-parts logistics provider. Therefore, an integration into the end customer’s IT systems is not required. The LeanOrder Control Suite monitors all system components, checks the plausibility of orders and forwards them to the ERP system of the C-parts logistics provider.

LeanOrder e-VMI

LeanOrder Controller

The LeanOrder Controller communicates with all LeanOrder devices (e.g. DetectionShelf, PushTag, TurnTag) within a radius of about 25 m. This ensures that all demand messages are received centrally and forwarded to the LeanOrder Control Suite via an M2M or WIFI/LAN connection and then to the customer's central IT system. The LeanOrder Controller can be easily mounted to the wall or ceiling.

LeanOrder DetectionShelf

The LeanOrder DetectionShelf is an intelligent shelf that enables easy and secure replenishment of C-parts for 2-bin Kanban processes. All Kanban containers are tagged with RFID labels. If an empty container is placed on the LeanOrder DetectionShelf, the DetectionShelf reads the ID of the container and sends the information ("demand") wirelessly to the LeanOrder Controller.

LeanOrder PushTag

Using the PushTag, the demand is triggered by pushing a button ("Kanban Button"). The LED indicates the order status. The LeanOrder PushTag can be easily attached at any location. It can also be used for articles that cannot be stored in containers, such as hanging or long goods.

LeanOrder TurnTag

Demand? Turned. Ordered! The LeanOrder TurnTag is used for 1 bin Kanban systems. If an employee wants to have access to the safety stock of the box, the box must be removed from the shelf and turned. The TurnTag recognizes the box-turn and triggers a demand message to the LeanOrder Controller via RFID. The LED signals that the replenishment order is processed. The TurnTag can be used on shelves or at work places.

LeanOrder RotationTag

The RotationTag is an RFID transponder that can be mounted on any box. It transmits the order as soon as it is turned. The more compact design compared to the LeanOrder TurnTag allows it to be used in paternosters (carousel systems). An LED indicates the order status at any time.

LeanOrder WeightShelf

The LeanOrder WeightShelf consists of a shelf with integrated weighing places and is used for 1 container Kanban processes. If a weighing place falls below a predefined minimum weight, a demand for the article is automatically triggered. In addition, a real-time inventory can be carried out based on the weight values. Like all LeanOrder products, the WeightShelf is battery-powered and can therefore be used flexibly at any location.

LeanOrder WeightSkid

The LeanOrder WeightSkid consists of a steel pallet with four integrated weighing feet. The WeightSkid is designed for heavy items and loads between 500 - 1,000 kg. If the goods at the weighing station fall below a predefined minimum weight level, a replenishment demand is automatically triggered. In addition, a real-time inventory can be carried out, based on the weight values. Like all LeanOrder products, the WeightShelf is battery-powered and can therefore be used anywhere on the shop floor.
