The LeanOrder RotationTag is used in paternoster systems (carousel storage) for 1-bin-Kanban. If an employee accesses the safety stock, the container is removed from the paternoster rack and rotated. Using the integrated magnetic strip, a demand is detected and sent to the LeanOrder system immediately.
The LeanOrder DetectionShelf is an intelligent shelf that enables easy and secure replenishment of C-parts for 2-bin Kanban processes. All Kanban containers are tagged with RFID labels. If an empty container is placed on the LeanOrder DetectionShelf, the DetectionShelf reads the ID of the container and sends the information (“demand”) wirelessly to the LeanOrder Controller.
The LeanOrder Controller communicates with all LeanOrder devices (e.g. DetectionShelf, PushTag, TurnTag) within a radius of about 25 m.
