Working as a Software Engineer

Tasks

  • Conception and realization of modular, distributed and robust system and software solutions.
  • Architecture, design, programming and testing of highly available server applications and clients based on .NET C# and various web technologies.
  • Preparing, testing and executing software rollouts in collaboration with customers.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science / electrical engineering or comparable education.
  • Good software engineering knowledge.
  • Good programming skills in a modern object-oriented programming language (ideally C#).
  • Database knowledge (SQL).
  • Good knowledge of English and German.
  • Independent, reliable way of working.
  • Interest in developing complex, distributed or sensor-based systems.
  • Advantageous: Web knowledge (ASP.NET Core, gRPC, Angular).

Working as a Product Engineer

Tasks

  • Product development from prototype stage to production handover, from requirements engineering to going live.
  • Design, specification and continuous development of our hardware and firmware platforms.
  • Sensor evaluation and qualification.
  • Developing product logic and algorithms for our smart devices.
  • Collaboration with software development and production.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science / electrical engineering / systems engineering or comparable education.
  • Experience in the field of embedded / product development.
  • Knowledge of a programming or scripting language (e.g. C, C#, Python, Matlab).
  • Knowledge of UltraLowPower, optics, RFID, production is advantageous.
  • Strong team and communication skills.

Working as a Firmware Engineer

Tasks

  • Design, Implementation and Testing of our product firmwares (drivers and application logic) in C and C++.
  • Programming of our smart devices and embedded systems, mainly STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Collaboration with product and software development.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science / electrical engineering / systems engineering or comparable education.
  • Experience in the field of embedded / product development.
  • Knowledge in programming language C and C++.
  • Knowledge of UltraLowPower, optics, RFID, production is advantageous.

Working as an IIoT Engineer

Tasks

  • Project planning and implementation for our international customers.
  • On-site customer support from commissioning to final acceptance of our IoT-solutions.
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks, software rollouts and firmware updates with remote access.
  • Close collaboration with our software and hardware teams to support development and testing of new products and features.
  • Monitoring of the customer systems to ensure stable operation.
  • Contribution to our digital manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Passing on system know-how to the operational customer team.

Requirements

  • Higher education in a technical field (e.g. automation, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics, IT).
  • Experience with project planning, 2D CAD and programming languages is advantageous.
  • Excellent MS Office skills.
  • Independent, reliable and customer-oriented way of working.
  • Good knowledge of German and English.
  • Enjoy traveling to our international customer locations in Europe, Asia and USA (min. 20%).
